In an archive denoting his official reaction to the summit, Francis makes no notice of this, and furthermore precludes letting non-clerics give the key ceremonies of the Holy Communion and admission.
An exemption to the chastity rule for clerics, but restricted to the Amazon locale, would have likely chafed conventionalists, who as of now consider Francis' to be as excessively liberal.
