Mikel Almost In Tears While Recounting Racist Abuse In Turkey

Trabzonspor midfielder, Mikel Obi has described the dismal experience how he was racially manhandled in Turkey.

"After the game on Saturday, I began getting messages on my Instagram, even my better half getting texts of prejudice and disdain, they were unnerving messages towards me and my family and children. There's a bad situation for this," he revealed to Turkish TV.

"I have gotten messages showing that I am not the only one. I got messages from Galatasaray fans. I got messages from numerous individuals. I got messages expressing that they were against the circumstance I had, and messages from individuals who knew me from the world.
