Man Disguised As ''CBN Governor'' Bags Three Years For N4.5m Fraud

Justice Agatha Anulika Okeke of a Federal High Court, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has indicted and condemned Nwalozie Onyebuchi Julius, who utilized the personality of Dr. Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria to submit misrepresentation, to three years detainment without a choice of fine. 


The convict was summoned by the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a one-check charge, verging on pantomime and getting by falsification to the tune of N4.5million. 

Nwalozie's excursion to imprison started on December sixth 2019 when he was captured by the agents of Uyo Zonal Office of the Commission, in light of solid insight on the exercises of web fraudsters, working in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
