Review that Mbaka, had in his New Year message forecasted that Ihedioha would lose his seat as the legislative head of Imo State to Senator Hope Uzodinma, a prescience that happened on January 14.
Ihedioha in an announcement gave by his representative, Chibuike Onyeukwu, in Owerri, said he never got any call from the Catholic cleric.
The announcement read, "The report dishonestly ascribed an announcement to me, charging that Fr. Mbaka, in the indicated telephone discussion, argued for absolution from my chief, over his articulations when the Supreme Court judgment of January 14, 2020 on the 2019 Imo State governorship political race.
"I wish to clarify that there was no such phone discussion between Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and Fr. Ejike Mbaka, neither did I creator any announcement nor address anyone relating to such.
"Nigerians and the great individuals of Imo State are encouraged to negligence such unwarranted publicity, as it is a known handicraft of adversaries who don't wish Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and the great individuals of Imo State well.
"We are not uninformed of the frantic endeavors to distort His Excellency as of now however we accept that fact and equity will win sooner than later."
