As per Vanguard, the admonition was given by the President General, Afaraukwu people group, Chief Ikechukwu Ndubueze, who informed the media on the arrangements for the internment.

In his words, "What we are doing is a customary internment. The whole Afaraukwu people group needs a quiet internment. We have been meeting with the security offices in the state.
