Edo APC Opposes Oshiomhole-led NWC Over Chairman's Suspension

The Edo chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday dismissed the suspension of the state administrator of the gathering, Mr. Anselm Ojezua by the gathering's National Working Committee. 


It would be reviewed that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC on Wednesday affirmed the suspension of the Edo State director of the gathering, Anselm Ojezua. 

It additionally affirmed the suspension of eleven of the sixteen individuals from the Edo State Working Committee (SWC). 

Ojezua and those influenced are said to be supporters of Governor Godwin Obaseki. 

Responding, an announcement gave by the State Assistant Secretary of the gathering, Mr. Anthony Ikhuenobe, depicted the choice of the NWC as 'one-sided considering the speed at which it acknowledged the illegal endeavor by certain individuals from the state working board to expel the state administrator of the gathering. 

"They were supported and directed by the National Chairman of APC without a plan of action to the state Executive Committee. 

"Regardless, the state official board of trustees of the gathering in Edo State had met on Nov. 12 and passed a vote of certain certainty on the Chairman, Anselm Ojezua," NAN cited him as saying. 

Ikhuenobe likewise blamed APC national administration for being the supporter of the Edo Peoples Movement (EPM), a chip bunch in the APC in Edo. 

He expressed that the gathering was made to destabilize the gathering in the state and approached Nigerians to dismiss the implied suspension of the state director of APC.
