As per DailyPost, the respondent was summoned on charges of maligning and impelling. Equity Hadi Sani requested the respondent to be remanded in a remedial office and dismissed the case until December 12, for the continuation of the consultation.
The State Attorney-General, Ibrahim Haruna, who summoned the respondent, told the court that the litigant supposedly criticized the state Governor in a November sixteenth distribution via web-based networking media.
Haruna claimed that the litigant likewise through a similar medium, prompted individuals from general society against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)- drove the organization in the state. He said the offenses contradicted Sections 287 and 142 of the Shariah Penal Code.
Haruna encouraged the court not to concede the litigant bail until the following deferred date to make preparations for a future event.
