The suit, dated Oct. 10 and checked: FHC/ABJ/CS/1221/2019, recorded by Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, on Akpoti's sake, looked for the court's assurance on the qualification of Governor Bello in the Saturday political race, having purportedly been engaged with twofold enrollment as a voter.
Akpoti said "that by his wilful demonstration of making twofold enrollment as a voter, Yahaya Bello, competitor of the first respondent is anything but a fit and legitimate individual to be permitted by the second litigant to cast a ballot or be decided in favor of in the imminent Kogi state governorship political decision, having submitted a demonstration of appointive extortion.
"That Mr. Yahaya Bella. the applicant of the First Defendant. was at first enrolled as a voter at some point in 2011 in Abuja, by the second respondent.
"That Bello. the applicant of the first litigant again deceitfully secured from the second respondent. a second enlistment as a voter on 23rd May,. 2017, at Government House. Lokoja, while his 2011 first enrollment as a voter in Abuja was still live, surviving and subsisting.
"That the said Yahaya Bello, the up-and-comer of the first litigant completed the twofold enrollment with the second respondent in order to leave due appointive procedure.
"That such an individual is anything but a fit and legitimate individual to be decided in favor of in any political race, let alone for the high office of the legislative leader of a state."
NAN reports that Justice Ekwo had, on Tuesday, conveyed judgment, excluding the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate in Bayelsa, Sen. Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo, over bogus data given in his CF0001 Form submitted to INEC for the Saturday's survey.
