The gathering began at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja around 11am.
This was his first FEC meeting in the wake of coming back to Nigeria last Friday from London where he went on a private visit.
The opening Christian supplication was said by Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi while the Minister of Education, Adamu offered the Muslim petition.
Before the initiation of the gathering appropriate, brief quietness was watched for previous Secretary to the Federal Government, (SGF) Chief Ufot Ekaette, who passed on at 80 years old.
Likewise, brief quiet was watched for previous Minister of Information, Chief Alex Opeyemi Akinyele, who went at 81 years old.
In participation at the gathering are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, practically all clergymen, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd).
The gathering was still in progress at the hour of documenting this report.
