Appeal Court Upholds Taraba Governor Ishaku's Re-Election

As indicated by Punch Metro, the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Monday maintained the second term appointment of Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State. 


A five-man board of the court rejected the intrigue by the All Progressives Congress and its governorship competitor in the March 9, 2019 survey, Abubakar Danladi. 

The court insisted on the judgment of the Taraba State Governorship Election Tribunal, which had maintained the re-appointment Ishaku's political race on the foundation of the Peoples Democratic Party. 

The Court of Appeal hung on Monday that APC had no applicant in the March 9, 2019 governorship political race in Taraba State on the grounds of the exclusion of its competitor, Abubakar Danladi by the Jalingo division of the Federal High Court on March 6, 2019.
