Funke Adesiyan, a Nollywood star, has secured the All Progressive Congress (APC) House of Assembly ticket for Ibadan South East State Constituency 2 in front of the 2019 general decisions.
Adesiyan got 207 votes to vanquish her opponent who got 32 votes.
The Nollywood performing artist, while responding to her rise, stated, "Yes we did it! "I wish to express gratitude toward Almighty Allah for his kindnesses".
She said thanks to the state Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi of the state over her triumph.
Adesiyan included, "I wish to say thanks to His Excellency Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who gave a possibility for nothing and reasonable primaries in my neighborhood Government yesterday in spite of weight of burden by a few components.
"Much obliged to you to pioneers of our gathering, APC at the state and neighborhood government level for entrusting me with this order.
"To the brilliance of God, I won the essential race of Ibadan south East 2 with 207 votes against my contender who had 32 votes. I wish to thank every one of our pioneers and delegates for their undeniable have faith in the brand FUNKE ADESIYAN.
"Much thanks to you for not permitting the sham that relatively damaged our kin procedure yesterday.
"To each and every kid and young lady out there imagining, dream tall. Never let anybody stop you."
