Fruit Intake Is Associated With Weight Loss

Regular fruit intake can help you lose weight. Fruit like apples and berries have the greatest effect on weight. Fruit is high in fibre which is associated with increased weight loss.

Fruit can also be taken as part of a whole food diet which can also boost weight loss. Eating a whole food, plant based diet can significantly reduce body weight and blood cholesterol levels.

Fruit Contains Natural Sugars

Sugars found in fruits are quite different from those found in processed foods. Added sugars in processed foods can potentially cause a lot of health problems like obesity, heart disease and diabetes. 
These added sugars are often either glucose or fructose.
Fruits contain fructose. When eaten too much of, fructose mat be harmful and contribute yo issues like obesity and liver disease.

 This is because it takes a lot of fruits to make up to a cup of fruit juice. Fruit juice also contains no fibre to slow down sugar absorption. As a result, you may experience sugar spikes and crashes if you consume too much fruit juice.
