The reality star turned to doctors on the show after being left with 'aggravated and encapsulated breasts', when the two surgeries she had on one breast and three on the other went wrong.
Kim, who has kept the identity of her husband secret, admitted that the death of her partner meant she put the procedure on the back burner.
However, keen for a fresh start, the mother-of-one was seen visiting Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif to fix her botched breasts, and she was delighted with the results.
Speaking before the operation, of which graphic scenes were shown on the show, Kim admitted she was 'ready and aching for relief.
In a frank interview, Kim said: 'I got breast implants.
'I thought the left breast was swollen and maybe I had an infection. Something was wrong. When I go back to the same surgeon, he says: "No, the right breast deflated".
Kim was seen being examined by the Dr Dubrow, who explained: 'There are four grades. Grade one means soft, essentially no encapsulation. Grade four means super firm, painful and displaced.'
And relieved that she had finally been diagnosed, Kim agreed: 'That's me!'
While Dr. Dubrow warned Kim that there were no guarantees when it came to her displaced breasts, he was willing to proceed in an effort to give her the breasts she always wanted.
