A political group in Ebonyi State, Akubaraoha Youth
Assembly, AYA, yesterday, called on a former Commissioner for Education in
Ebonyi State, Prince Chibueze Agbo, to tender unreserved apology to President
Muhammadu Buhari and Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State over comments he made
against them...
At a briefing in Abakaliki, Coordinator of the group in Ohaukwu
Local Government Area, Mr. Paul Ituma, said Agbo’s petition to Buhari against
the $150 million loan being sought by the state government from African
Development Bank, AfDB, and Islamic Bank for construction of over 198-kilometre
ring road in eight Local Government areas of the state in which he allegedly
told President Buhari to immediately rescind his approval of the loan, was
insulting. He noted that the Federal Executive Council had approved the loan
for the state and that Agbo writing to Buhari to withdraw the approval was the
height of self-conceit and disrespect.$150m Loan: Apologise To Buhari, Umahi, Group Tells Ex-Ebonyi Commissioner
