”President Buhari has not endorsed N30,000 minimum wage” -Presidency

Reports were overflowing on the web the previous evening that President Buhari in the wake of getting the report of the Tripartite Committee on the Review of National Minimum Wage from the board's administrator, Ama Pepple, embraced the new the lowest pay permitted by law. 


As indicated by Vanguard, a source in the administration who talked on the state of secrecy, said there was no time at the gathering when President Buhari supported the new the lowest pay permitted by law. 

The source included that President Buhari just communicated his promise to guarantee the usage of another National Minimum Wage.

“The president’s speech at the event was immediately made available to the media and nowhere indicated that the president endorsed N30,000 Minimum wage.

 It is not the duty of the president only to endorse a new national minimum wage.
