President Muhammadu Buhari has selected Amb. Kabiru Bala as new High Commissioner to South Africa, with simultaneous accreditation to Swaziland and Lesotho.
An announcement by Ms. Sarah Sanda, the Special Assistant on Media to Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, said this on Monday in Abuja.
Sanda expressed that the pastor exhibited the letter of assurance to the new representative on Monday in Abuja.
She included that before his arrangement, Bala was Deputy High Commissioner to the UK.
A lifelong negotiator, Amb. Bala joined the Foreign Service in 1999 and had on various occasions served in Brasilia, Sudan, The Gambia, Netherlands, and Thailand.
He additionally served in the State House Office of the Chief of Staff to the President, and also State House Protocol.
Bala will supplant Ahmed Ibeto, the previous Ambassador who surrendered his arrangement in July to join the Peoples Democratic Party.
