Declare Nigeria A Nation At War - Gov. Okorocha Speaks On Killing Of Soldiers By Terrorists

While talking on Thursday when officers from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) Jaji, paid him a civility visit at the Government House, Owerri, the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha stated, with the ongoing killings of numerous fighters by the radicals in Borno State, Nigeria must proclaim itself a country at war.

Review that Soldiers in the north-east have been under a progression of assaults by the Boko Haram fear based oppressors over the most recent two weeks. The Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA), a group of the organization, guaranteed obligation regarding the assaults.

While there were reports that more than 100 warriors lost their lives, the armed force said it lost 39 of its troops, and in a quick response, Okorocha said the loss of 10 officers is sufficient to proclaim Nigeria at war, "not to discuss 40 fighters."

As indicated by DailyTrust, the senator stated: "A country must be in a genuine war to lose 10 fighters, not to discuss 40 warriors. So Nigeria must pronounce itself as a country at war.

"What I believe is going on in the North-East is what was occurring here in Imo State when I came in 2011. Owerri was famous for hijacking and we were number one State for seizing when I came in to the degree that by 5.30 or 6pm everyone had gone home inspired by a paranoid fear of being captured. Be that as it may, we handled it and survived."

He mourned with the groups of the killed warriors.
