Asinim Butswat, Spokesman of the Command, who disclosed to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Yenagoa, included that the sergeant would before long be summoned in court.
The episode occurred amid a police assault and detainment of inhabitants by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Command.

"The Bayelsa State Police Command laments the shocking occurrence including a Police Officer and an occupant of Tenacious Road, Edepie, Yenagoa.
"Sergeant Timadi Emmanuel appended to a watch group of Akenfa Division, while on watch at Tenacious Road, Edepie, under flawed conditions shot one Tariela Nikade, male, matured 20.
"The Policeman has been expelled after fundamental examinations concerning the episode and he will be arraigned when examinations are finished up," Butswat said.
In the meantime, inhabitants have kept on mourning the badgering and ambush of individuals from people in general.
A few casualties of the capture revealed to NAN that the policemen did not screen them or tune in to their clarifications previously the capture and detainment.
Mr. Prosper Jacobs, who was captured close by numerous others on Thursday night, said that he was attacked and wounded for arguing.
"The group simply pressed their van on our road at Ebis Mechanic Road, Amarata. When they needed to constrain me into their van, I demanded to recognize what my offense was and they ambushed me and left me a short time later with wounds.
"Numerous others were then removed in the van and confined medium-term; their relatives need to intercede before they were liberated," Jacobs said.
Another injured individual, Michael Gibson, a government worker said that he was captured when he went to purchase energize cards in Amarata zone of Yenagoa.
"They never minded to tune in to any clarifications, I revealed to them that I am an educator and they could confirm my case from my neighbors, however, they took me and others and bolted us up," he said.
