The Police Public Relations Officer for the Command, SP Ebere Amaraizu, who uncovered this in an announcement in Enugu on Friday, said that the mishap occurred in late long stretches of Thursday.
He said that the mishap, which included two vehicles occurred on Enugu-Abakiliki Expressway, inverse Promise-arrive in Emene, edge of Enugu, the state capital.
"The deadly mischance happened when one Sienna vehicle was endeavoring to surpass another vehicle and in the process slammed into a tipper lorry from the other way.
"The crash left five of the inhabitants of the Sienna vehicle, accepted to travel home for the entombment of their friends and family, lethally harmed and oblivious because of the effect of the mischance.
"They were immediately raced to Annunciation Hospital, Emene for therapeutic consideration and later, where they were affirmed dead by the specialist on obligation. Their cadavers have been saved at a similar doctor's facility morgue for further fundamental activity,'' he said.
Amaraizu , who said police agents had started activity with a view to reaching the relations of the perished, instructed individuals concerning people in general to be security cognizant while heading to maintain a strategic distance from of loss of lives and property. (NAN)
