Equity Daniel Longji, passed on the sentence as he discovered Banchir liable of slaughtering his organic mother.
Conveying the judgment, Longji stated: "Passing by the discoveries of this court, you Godwin Banchir, cruelly ended the life of your mom, Mrs. Saratu Banchir, without blinking.
"This sentence is compulsory, as the law expresses that any individual indicted for homicide will be rebuffed with death by hanging.
"The sentence of this court upon you is that you, Godwin Banchir, will be hanged until the point that you are dead, may God show kindness toward your spirit,'' he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the convict was first summoned on June 6, 2016, accused of a blamable crime, as opposed to Section 221 of the Penal Code culpable with death upon conviction.
The convict was said to have perpetrated the wrongdoing on Jan. 21, 2016, when he utilized a stick to pound the life out of his mom.
Banchir in his confession booth articulation said that he came back from the homestead on the said date and discovered his mom sitting in the compound and when he welcomed her, she disregarded him.
He said that that goaded him and he picked a stick and hit her.
In his words: "I got furious when she didn't react to my welcome, so I picked the stick of a hatchet and hit her around her ribs.
"She tumbled down and begun yelling, which pulled in our neighbors who came to pound me and later took me to the police headquarters.
"I have been having false impressions with my mom each time I come back from the homestead, she doesn't cook for me on time, and she generally squabble with me at whatever point I need to shower with the water she got from the stream.
"Her activities dependably disturb me, I didn't realize that she would kick the bucket from the beating she got from me," he said.
