How SARS Shot Me, But Bullet Couldn't Penetrate - 'Fortified' Man Narrates

A 50-year-old vigilante, Agbodemu Ishola, yesterday, uncovered that a few individuals from Special Anti-burglary Squad, SARS, straightforwardly shot at him and the slug did not infiltrate his body since he had been 'braced' by his dad. 


As indicated by Vanguard, Ishola made the exposure before the Presidential Panel on Special Anti-theft Squad (SARS), Reform sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, where he was affirming against supposed infringement of his major human rights by SARS officers in 2017.

He stated, "On March 3, 2017, at 5.00 p.m., I heard a discharge and saw individuals running harum scarum. I saw men with weapons in mufti, they accompanied a van without number plates. 

"I got out and saw that the men had struck a portion of the inhabitants. I endeavored to approach them with my Vigilance Identity Card yet was shot by the men. 

"The slugs did not enter into my body since I was strengthened by my dad. I am a local of Osun State, no gunfire can enter into my body," he told the board. 

The complainant said that the SARS individuals evacuated their mufti when they were going to clear out. "Furthermore, I saw SARS logo on them," he said. 

The barrier direct, Mr. S. Idachaba, questioned the cases of the complainant, saying that there was no instance of discharge in the restorative report displayed by him. 

Following 15 minutes break, the administrator of the board decided that the case be put on hold with the end goal to give space for more proof. People in general hearing will proceed with today and it has gotten 36 grumblings in South-West Zone on supposed human rights infringement by SARS.
