A Karmo Grade 1 Area Court in Abuja on Wednesday condemned one Faith Kathy to two-month detainment for offending a cop.

The Judge, Inuwa Maiwada, be that as it may, gave the convict a choice of N3,000 fine and informed her to dependably be regarding great conduct.

Kathy, who dwells in Utako Village, Abuja, was sentenced on a check charge of deliberate affront.

The convict had conceded submitting the offense and asked the court to temper equity with benevolence as she didn't realize what came over her.

Prior, the Prosecutor, Ijeoma Ukagha, had told the court that a group of cops from the Utako Police Station in the FCT captured and took the convict to the station for purportedly comprising a disturbance on Oct. 18.

She said that while at the station, the convict offended the Divisional Crime Officer.

Ukagha said the offense negated Section 155 of the Penal Code.
