Troops Kill Five Boko Haram Insurgents In Borno

The Nigerian Army on Sunday said its troops had killed five Boko Haram extremists in a northern piece of Borno. 


Texas Chukwu, the Director, Army Public Relations, revealed this in an announcement issued in Maiduguri. 

Mr. Chukwu stated: "troops of Sector 3, Operation LAFIYA DOLE related to Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), while on battling watch to Gara town in northern Borno on Friday, October 5, experienced speculated Boko Haram Terrorists. 

"Five individuals from the Boko Haram fear based oppressors were killed amid the experience, following the prevalent discharge intensity of the troops, while others got away to a close-by shrub with firearm shot injuries". 

He uncovered that the troops recuperated four AK 47 rifles; five magazines, 55 rounds of 7.62mm uncommon ammo and eight rounds of 5.56mm NATO ammo. 

Different things recuperated from the extremists include 11 cell phones; arranged medications; cooking utensils; consumables and six steeds. 

Mr. Chukwu approached individuals from people, in general, to report any suspicious developments or exercises in their general vicinity to the security organizations.
