The seats of Kankia/Kusada and Toro federal constituencies of Katsina and Bauchi States were on Tuesday, declared abandoned by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara.
According to PREMIUM Times, Dogra's acknowledgment is advancing as an aftereffect of the swearing-in of two associates of the House: Ahmed Babba-Kaita and Lawal Gumau as senators by the assembly president, Bukola Saraki.
Kaita represented Kankia/Kusada federal constituency of Katsina State while Mr. Gumau represented Toro federal constituency of Bauchi State.
The duo was adopted as senators afterward the annihilation of the above occupants of the seats. The backward senators, Bukar Mustapha, and Ali Wakili died beforehand in 2018.
