Faro is at present being held in guardianship at the Jimeta Division of the Nigeria Police in Yola.

Talking with SaharaReporters prior in the day, Faro had said his activity was required by the "extraordinary destitution" in the land.
"I believe it's the ideal opportunity for Buhari to give a route for somebody like Atiku Abubakar to lead us out of the present hardship," he had said.
"I will stay here for 12 hours to demonstrate my discontent, and somebody at the very least Atiku must come here to guarantee me that this legislation must be sacked in the imminent decision."
