The race was uncertain because of lack of tally papers for one of the six gathering zones that made up the area.
Representatives from Enugu East, North, South, Isiuzo and Nkanu East finished up their voting while at the same time voting in favor of agents from Nkanu West LGA which unexpectedly the host gathering territory did not hold.
Yunusa in any case, said that the surveys of the rest of the chamber territory would be done on Wednesday morning, Oct. 3, when the tally papers more likely than not arrived.
"After the staying one gathering surveys tomorrow, I will formally pronounce the victor of the essential for Enugu East Senatorial Zone and restore the champ as the hopeful of the PDP in front of 2019 General Elections,'' he included.
The contenders for the seat are the flow representative for the zone, Gil Nnaji, previous Gov. Chimaroke Nnamani, and an instructor at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Prof. Jabber Agu.
Others are Prince Lawrence Eze, Chief David Nkwo and Chief Joshua Mba.
Every one of the candidates for the position was available at the setting aside from Nnamani who was prominently missing.
Endeavors to get his whereabouts flopped as nobody could clarify why he was not at the scene.
