Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, on Thursday, sent 25 names to the state Assembly for affirmation as officials.
Tambuwal in a letter dated Oct. 18, read at whole stated, "I am satisfied to forward to the House selection for the arrangement as officials and individuals from state official gathering.
"The selection is in accordance with area 192 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as changed.
"The candidates are chosen after wide meetings inside the apparition of our general public and incongruity with area 14 (4) of the Constitution."
Tambuwal additionally expressed that the candidates are people of demonstrated respectability with great track records in their different occupations.
"I am sure, they will convey to hold up under, their wide involvement in impelling the plan and execution of government approaches and projects for the general advancement of our state."
The Deputy Speaker, Alhaji Abubakar Magaji, who directed the sitting declared that the chosen people will be screened on Oct. 23 and Oct. 24.
