EFCC Moves Fayose to Lagos for Trial

Former Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose's preliminary will doubtlessly start at a Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday, as indicated by reports.

The ex-representative is confronting preliminary regarding N1.299 billion and $5.3 million supposedly assigned to him by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) from N4.65 billion slush finance purportedly shared by ONSA. 

However, the ex-representative denied gathering $5.3 million from a previous Minister of State for Defense, Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro. 

He was said to have just conceded knowing Obanikoro and his partner, Abiodun Agbele, who supposedly purchased six decision properties for him in Lagos and Abuja. 

He was likewise said to have affirmed amid cross examination yesterday that Agbele purchased the properties for him. 

The Head of Media and Publicity of EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, affirmed the recording of charges against Fayose. 

"Fayose has been presented with charges close by his organization, Spotless." 

In any case, Fayose's media helper, Lere Olayinka, said the previous senator is holding up to be charged to court, at whatever point the EFCC is prepared. 

He asserted that the EFCC does not have proof to indict the ex-senator.
