An announcement from the State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, on Thursday in Awka, said the infant, purportedly dumped in a shrubbery, was recouped around 4pm by the vigilante in the region.
"Vigilante Chairman appended to Adazi-Nnukwu town, One Frank Okonkwo, conveyed to Neni division, a male offspring of around one-year-old, asserted to have been relinquished in the shrubbery inverse Holy Trinity House Adazi - Nnukwu.
"The child is dim in composition and without an innate check," he said.
Mohammed anyway noticed that endeavors were on to follow the child's natural guardians with the end goal to rejoin him with the family.
