A suspected bike thief, Sharif Audu, has admitted to stealing a Bajaj bike so as to boost cash for his lady friend’s preservation.
The 18-year-old was apprehended via a team of police detectives from Niger country Police Command after robbing one Yakubu Ndanusa of his motorbike.
Northern town information accumulated that the suspect who is jobless became constantly seen loitering around Honey Bell hotel in Minna.
The suspect stated that he stole the bike to elevate cash to “keep his girlfriend.”
“The preference to meet the needs of my lady friend made me steal the motorbike. I don’t want to say no to her and that is why i can do anything to make her glad, irrespective of what.
“I don’t need to share her with anyone and this is why i'm able to cross the extra mile to fulfil her desires. I don’t care what it can result to, my obligation is to provide what she desires earlier than any other aspect, i like her a lot,” he stated without remorse.
The Police Public family members Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, confirmed that the stolen bike turned into recovered from the suspect.
He said that the problem might be charged to court after research.
