ZARA Tindall And Mike Tindall Have Welcomed A Baby Girl, But What Is Their Daughter Called?

The Queen's granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall welcomed a baby girl on June 18, 2018.The newborn is the royal couple's second daughter, as they already have Mia Tindall, who is four years old.....

Sharing the news, a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace stated: "Mrs Michael Tindall was safely delivered of a baby girl on 18th June, at Stroud Maternity Unit. Mr Tindall was present at the birth. The weight of the baby was 9lbs 3oz."

But what have the couple called their baby and when will we find out her name?

The Royal Family's official Twitter account revealed the couple will confirm their baby's moniker in "due course" on June 19, 2018.

Following the birth of their first child, it was Mike who broke the news, writing on social media just six days after her birth.

He wrote: "For everyone who asked what our daughter's name is, it's Mia Grace Tindall."

The couple shunned royal tradition by refusing to pick a name relating to a family member when Mia was born.

Despite bookies thinking their first-born would be named after Zara'a mother Anne, or even her grandmother Elizabeth, Zara and Mike chose Mia simply because they both liked it.

Zara’s spokesman, told the MailOnline at the time: "There is no family connection, no relation with the name, it’s just pure coincidence. They both just really liked the names, particularly Mia."

It's likely they'll do the same when it comes to their second child.

The Queen's great-granddaughter will likely not have a title at all.

With her other great grandchildren such as the latest royal baby being given titles such as His Royal Highness Prince Louis Cambridge, this is unusual for someone so close to the royal family tree.

And it all comes down to a decision made decades ago by 37-year-old Zara's mother, Princess Anne.

Prince Charles' younger sister opted out of royal titles when she gave birth to her children, Zara and Peter Phillips.

The brother and sister were not technically entitled to be named a Princess or Prince at birth, but the Queen offered to bestow the title upon them.

However, Anne turned down the courtesy title in a bid to give her children a little more chance at a 'normal' upbringing.
