Wole Olujobi, the media aide to the Ekiti Governor, John Kayode Fayemi Campaign Organisation, has replied Gboyega Oguntuase, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ekiti state on his allegation that Fayemi could not account for the state's fund allocated to him in his regime which has left the state in debt.

However, the All Progressives Congress has responded to the allegation, saying the figures put forth by the Ayo Fayose-led PDP government were inaccurate and misleading.
The PDP chairman, Gboyega Oguntuase, said on Sunday that with the debts incurred by the Fayemi administration, the state was servicing the debts with an average of N1.1 billion monthly, adding that about 40 per cent of the state’s allocation was deducted from source monthly.
The All Progressive Congress has stated that this allegation against Fayemi is to pain him in a bad way in other for his opponent the People's Democratic Party candidate to win. But according to the All Progressive Congress speech, they said the Ekiti people are not daft to not notice their plot.
