PETE Wicks Was Bitten By A Shark In A Terrifying Attack While Appearing On Bear Grylls.

TOWIE star Pete Wicks was bitten by a shark in a horrific attack while filming for the upcoming series of Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.......
The 29-year-old was left with "blood everywhere" during the incident as medical professionals rushed to take care of the tattooed star.

According to The Sun, Pete was fishing for food on the Channel 4 show, in which celebrities are left on an uninhabited island in the Pacific.

A source said: "Pete and the rest of the Islanders were checking their fishing nets when he was attacked by the shark. It just came out of nowhere and bit his hand.

"It was terrifying – there was blood everywhere and everyone was panicking and trying to run out of the water."

The website reports that a medical team on the island rushed to get him fixed up.

"No one knew what was going on, but show medics managed to get him cleaned and bandaged up. He was still wearing the dressing on the plane home."

Megan McKenna’s ex is said to have lost a whopping three stone during his appearance on the show, which will also feature Love Island 2017 star Montana Brown and Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallett.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: "You think you’re going to be able to come back and scoff as much as you want, but you physically can’t.

"I’ve been struggling ever since. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done, without a doubt. It’s not like Big Brother when you’re sat around not doing anything every day. We had to do everything - find food, search for water and collect wood - or else we wouldn’t survive. It’s tough."

This year's Celebrity Island contestants have just returned home from filming, with the show set to air on Channel 4 in the autumn.
