In the aftermath of Niall Aslam's premature departure from the show, the latest recoupling meant that no one went home.

However, it has since been confirmed that someone will leave the villa by the end of the week.

Sending the message via text, it was Eyal Booker who received it and read it out to his fellow Love Island stars.

"Islanders, tonight each couple must vote for the two couples who they think are least compatible.

"Those who receive the most votes risk being dumped from the island tomorrow. You must now discuss in your couples who you are going to choose and then submit your decision by text.

"You must not discuss your decision with anyone else #theglovesareoff #judgementday."

Facing the risk of going home, it didn't take long for some of the couples to start discussing what they were going to do.

Making it clear that they would have to put their personal feelings to one side, Wes Nelson told Laura Anderson: "The only fair way to do this is to answer the question, which is based on pure compatibility.

"It’s not about who we like the most, who we get on the most with. I think that’s completely unfair to do that. It’s not something to be taken light heartedly," he added.

Meanwhile, Alex George, who has been unlucky in love since he arrived in the villa, admitted that he was worried about leaving next due to his platonic relationship with Samira Mighty.

"We’re the friendship couple – yeah of course we do feel vulnerable," the doctor confessed.
