Former The Hills star Brody spoke of his disappointment that Caitlyn didn’t attend the ceremony after he tied the knot with Kaitlynn Carter.

Speaking to People, the 34-year-old said: "It was a big disappointment.

"Especially considering that she had known about the wedding for a year."

According to the website Kris Jenner’s ex is planning to throw the newlyweds a post-wedding party in Los Angeles this summer.

People reports that Caitlyn was set to attend the wedding but last-minute work commitments prevented her from getting to the wedding on time.

As for Brody’s half-siblings, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, the reality TV star revealed that he never heard back from them after inviting them to attend.

"We sent them an invite but we never heard back. I would have loved to have had them there," Brody explained.

Caitlyn recently broke her silence on reports that she herself is set to marry 21-year-old transgender student Sophia, who is 47 years her junior.

According to Heat magazine: "Cait really sees herself spending the rest of her life with Sophia. She lost her support system when she fell out with her family and these days, it feels like Sophia's the only person she can count on."

However, a representative for Caitlyn denied the reports when contacted by OK! Online, saying they were simply: "Not true."
