And despite the chiller climes of the Big Apple, the R.I.P hitmaker proved to be a tad too warm as she completed stripped off her clothes.
The former X Factor judge propped her legs on her seat to cover her modesty as she chowed down on her desert.
Injecting some drama into her snap, the ex of Rob Kardashian tamed her blonde wavy tresses in place with a dramatic black furry hat and completed the look with a slick of deep matte red lips.
Rita is currently in a relationship with Andrew Watt and they quietly became 'Instagram official' last month after being rumoured to be an item for more than a year.
The singer took to the photo-sharing app to upload a black-and-white snapshot of herself posing with a hand on the rocker's arm at a glitzy event London, alongside the caption: 'Last night,' flanked by a pair of love hearts.
The couple were first spotted enjoying a cosy holiday in Rome last October - but kept their romance under wraps until last month, when Rita posted a sweet photo of the pair to Instagram.
A source told MailOnline that it is all a part of her efforts to keep her romance under wraps, explaining: 'Rita has kept her relationship with him very private and out of the spotlight... This is the first time she has posted anything about him.'
