2. WIZKID – STAR BOY ENTERTAINMENT

On 5 March 2013, Vanguard’s Charles Mgbolur eported that Wizkid established his label imprint Starboy Entertainment. During an interview with Silverbird Television, Wizkid told Yvonne Vixen Ekwere that he planned on signing new acts to the label. Wizkid told Showtime Celebrity that he established his own record label to give up-and-coming artists a platform to showcase their talent. On 17 April 2013, Wizkid signed Maleek Berry to Starboy Entertainment. Star boy also houses L.A.X and Legendury Beatz.

3. WANDE COAL – BLACK DIAMOND ENTERTAINMENT

Wande Coal who was first signed to Mo’Hits and then Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records left Don Jazzy under controversial circumstances. Wande Coal has since launched his ‘Black Diamond’ entertainent label under which he released his latest album titled ‘Wanted’. The label doesn’t have any other acts we know for now, but are working on signing singers and would announce them soon.

Olamide Adedeji is the CEO of YBNL records, which has been ranked as one of the biggest and strongest labels in Nigeria right now. YBNL houses acts such as Lil Kesh, Viktoh, Chinko Ekun, and Zino.
