2. WIZKID – STAR BOY ENTERTAINMENT
On
5 March 2013, Vanguard’s Charles Mgbolur eported that Wizkid established his
label imprint Starboy Entertainment. During an interview with Silverbird
Television, Wizkid told Yvonne Vixen Ekwere that he planned on signing new acts
to the label. Wizkid told Showtime Celebrity that he established his own record
label to give up-and-coming artists a platform to showcase their talent. On 17
April 2013, Wizkid signed Maleek Berry to Starboy Entertainment. Star boy also

3. WANDE COAL – BLACK DIAMOND ENTERTAINMENT
Wande Coal who was first signed to
Mo’Hits and then Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records left Don Jazzy under controversial
circumstances. Wande Coal has since launched his ‘Black Diamond’ entertainent
label under which he released his latest album titled ‘Wanted’. The label
doesn’t have any other acts we know for now, but are working on signing singers
and would announce them soon.
4. Olamide – YBNL Nation
Olamide
Adedeji is the CEO of YBNL records, which has been ranked as one of the biggest
and strongest labels in Nigeria right now. YBNL houses acts such as Lil Kesh,
Viktoh, Chinko Ekun, and Zino.5. D’BANJ – DBANJ RECORDS (DB RECORDS)
D’banj after his separation from his former partner, Don Jazzy decided to float his own record label called ‘DB records’. DB Records houses acts such as Kayswitch, brothers MossKriss and Ralph Kriss and of course their first lady, Tonto Dikeh.
6. 2FACE – HYPERTEK DIGITAL
Hypertek Digital is a Nigerian based record label founded by recording artist 2face Idibia. It was established following Idibia’s departure from Kennis Music, a record label owned by Kehinde “Kenny” Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye. The label was founded in 2006, and is home to recording artists such as Victor Uwaifo, Dammy Krane and RockSteady. The label is a subsidiary of 960 Music Group.

Reminisce founded Les Roses Rouges by himself after achieving decent success under EDGE records. He has since signed 2 artistes under Les Roses Rouges including Sojay and Oladips
8. RUGGEDMAN – RUGGED RECORDS
Ruggedman launched himself into the music industry in 1999, eventually becoming the most featured rapper in Nigeria. His albums are all released on his personal label, Rugged Records. Ruggedman’s record label, Rugged Records, signed its first act, singer MBRYO, in September 2012.
9. IYANYA – TRIPLE MG
Iyanya is
the co-owner of Triple MG music which he kicked off with Ubi Franklin. The
label houses its Iyanya, Tekno and Selebobo.

SAVAGE – 323
Savage
established her own label imprint, 323 Entertainment, with her manager and
husband Tunji “Tee Billz” Balogun whom she got engaged to on 5 February 2013.
She joined Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records in 2012 after the label she co-owns teamed
up with the executive producer.
