It's more than 60th days of the absence of the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces. President Mohammed Buhari from the shores of this country.
The President left through the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja on May 7th, 2017 for a Medical vacation in the UK.
Since then, Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo has been in charge of the Country as the acting President. This is not without serious issues begging for answers.
For instance, why was The Letter that was sent to the National Assembly to allow Osinbajo acting president only called him a “Coordinator” instead of Acting President, was this meant to reduce his power and authority?
Also the recent development, where the Attorney General and Minister Of Justice,Abubakar Malami (SAN) referred to the acting president as speaking for himself on the crisis between The FG and The National Assembly and The Assembly drawing the battle line on critical issues on some lines of Osibajo’s speech on budget and budgetary allocation and Ministers going to London behind the acting president to get their files treated, are obvious that something is wrong in the Country.
In view of all these, For how long will our President be out of the Country? When will he be back? Can acting President be able to act correctly and take decisions with the full power of that office?
As all of us at www.dailyfamily.ng prays for the quick recovery of our Dear President, we also ask that the Acting President should be allowed to act according to his Constitutional powers for the benefit of the nation.
Malami should be made to apologize or resign from the office of
The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation for his unbecoming attitudes and The Senate should sheathe its sword and Cooperate with the Acting President to move this Country forward.
