Fomer Monaco Player Tiemoue Bakayoko Welcomed By New Chelsea Team-Mates In London

Tiemoue Bakayoko was given a warm welcome by some of his new Chelsea team-mates on Thursday night as he headed out for dinner with David Luiz and Willian.
The Brazilian pair gave Chelsea's imminent signing a taste of the London life as they dined with him at the plush Jinjuu Mayfair, before heading to nearby Novikov.

Monaco midfielder Bakayoko has all-but confirmed his move to Stamford Bridge, with the club set to officially announce the deal in the next 24 hours.
The Frenchman is due to have his medical on Friday, and the Premier League champions will pay £40million plus add-ons for the 22-year-old.

Bakayoko has followed the club and several of the players on Twitter, while also using the social media platform to troll Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho's side were also heavily linked with a move for the player, but he has opted to move to London with Chelsea instead.

On Friday morning, Bakayoko tweeted red and white emojis with two love hearts, and his location set in Manchester, to hint at a move to United, despite him being in London. The tweet was later deleted.

Late on Thursday he had also conversed with new team-mate Michy Batshuayi on Twitter, batting off a question about whether he had signed his new contract.

The tongue-in-cheek exchange involved a whole host of emojis and intimated that a move was edging closer to completion.

The signing will be a boost for Antonio Conte, who has been frustrated by problems in the transfer market to this point.
Bakayoko is expected to be a Chelsea player in time to join the squad on their pre-season tour to China and Singapore.

He arrived in London on Thursday and shared pictures of his journey on the Eurostar from France to London.

The 22-year-old had a copy of the Daily Mail, as well as an English phrasebook ahead of his big-money move to west London.
