According to the Police report, the victim is a student in the Department of History/English and was allegedly raped outside the campus in turn by the suspected rapists.
The suspects were said to have allegedly recorded the illicit sexual act while it lasted and threatened to blackmail their victim by releasing the footage online if she dares reported what transpired between them with anyone.
Speaking on the issue while parading the suspect, the Ondo State Police Commissioner, Mrs. Hilda Harrison, said the victim had been taken to Ile-Ife, in Osun State where she is undergoing adequate treatment before the suspects are charged to court.
The commissioner said.
“The victim was raped and during the act, one of the suspects Adetuyi Adekunle did the video recording of the heinous crime as they took turns on their victim one after the other and later abandoned her to go with a threat that they would use charms on her if she revealed the incident to anyone.
“The case was reported to the school Afterschool Centers on Education Authority (ACE) and the suspects were arrested, the case has been transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation.”
The College’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Moses Akinfolarin When contacted on the telephone, said he wasn’t aware of the incident.
He said.
“I am hearing it for the first time as you are telling now, I am not aware of such incident on this campus.”
