To mark Princess Charlotte's second birthday today, Kensington Palace has released a new photo of the youngest Royal taken by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge yesterday the 1st of May 2017

In keeping with Prince George's second birthday picture, the photo has a relaxed and intimate feel with the Princess wearing a cardigan from John Lewis and clutching her favourite book.
