JONATHAN WAS TURNED INTO 'CONFUSED PRESIDENT'BY HIS BORTHERS-KPODOH

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and former Security Adviser to the government of Bayelsa State, Chief Prerekeme Kpodoh, has said that under former President Goodluck Jonathan, the Niger Delta region lost hope of good governance and development.
He noted that this was because the aides of the former President from the Niger Delta region turned him to a ‘confused President’.
Kpodoh said this in a statement he made available to newsmen yesterday where he also slammed those defending Jonathan.
He said nobody should stay in Abuja or outside the region to put up defence against those criticising the former president.
He said, “Under our brother, we lost hope because aides from our region turned him to confused President.
“Look at President Muhammadu Buhari, he is not from the Niger Delta but the region has started witnessing a change.
‘’Modular refineries were approved for illegal refinery operators.
“With Diezani, who is from Niger Deltan, the region faced crisis without a clear cut policy to empower the region.
“Nobody should stay in Abuja and outside the region to put up defence against those castigating Jonathan years of fraud. Nobody is a fool and we know what we are doing.
“If a leader fails, the Niger Delta people have the right to tackle him.
“We know what we are saying. We had expected that with a President from the region, all our expectation would have been met.
“But what we witnessed during Jonathan’s six years was wasteful years of corruption and antidevelopment tendencies.”
