She nearly turned down her role in Dirty Dancing.
But
Nicole Scherzinger seemed to have no regrets as she attended the PaleyLive premiere for the TV reboot in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Seeming
to be having the time of her life, the 38-year-old singer failed to
notice that her risque gown had ridden up, however, leading to an
awkward wardrobe malfunction.
Nicole - who plays Penny Rivera in the
film - oped for a cream floor length dress with a risque split that
ensured she would turn heads.
And all eyes were on the star at the
bash, but sadly for the wrong reasons, as her glamorous gown rode up to
expose her knickers.
Oblivious to
the wardrobe malfunction, the Poison hitmaker strode past into the
venue, layering up with an oversized black blazer that she wore over one
shoulder.
Featuring a plunging neckline, the cream
gown offered a look at her ample cleavage, whilst she went braless to
flash some sideboob.
Backless in
design, the sexy dress was secured with delicate spaghetti straps,
whilst the hanky hemline flared over a pair of bronze heels.
The
X Factor judge finished off the look by sweeping her chestnut locks in
a high ponytail with a classic smokey eye and pale pink lip.

Nicole's character
of Penny falls pregnant in the original film and opts for an illegal
abortion, forcing Baby to step in and dance with Johnny Castle, who was
originally played by Patrick Swayze.
And due to her strong anti-abortion beliefs, Nicole revealed that she nearly turned down the role.
She
told The Daily Mail: 'I was like a crazy thing because, my family, my
Papa’s a Bishop and my family’s really hardcore against abortion.
‘So I got the role and I almost didn’t
take it because I didn’t want to promote abortion, because my character
has an abortion. But I was like, hopefully they can learn from you know
her ways and I can be a positive influence.
‘My
mum got pregnant with me when she was 17 and had me when she was 18.
She chose. Her parents were never going to let her have an abortion. So I
came out, so I just want to you know encourage everybody to keep your
babies.’
The ABC reboot of Dirty Dancing also stars Abigail Breslin, Debra Messing and Sarah Hyland and will be aired on May 28 at 8pm.
