She is best known for portraying a 'girl next door' image onscreen.

But taking on a gritty new role for drug drama Woodshock, Kirsten Dunst has shed her usual persona to take on the embattled character of Teresa in the movie.

The actress, 35, strips down and bares her frame to cut a vulnerable figure in just her nude lingerie, as she is seen sat perched on the edge of a bath smoking drugs.

In the movie, Dunst transforms into a woman named Teresa, who falls into a downward spiral after suffering a profound loss and is left battling paranoia after taking a deadly drug.

Appearing onscreen as you've never seen her before, Kirsten is almost unrecognisable in the role, as she appears dishevelled in new pictures released from the film.

Cutting a shrinking figure, Kirsten is seen cowering as she sits with an ashtray on her lap while clad in just a lace bra and briefs to smoke. Her blonde tresses fall limp by her face and she is seen holding a lighter to her roll-up, while baring her frame and leaving her bust on full view.
