The Death Of Commassie Ex IGP

The death occurred of former Inspector General of Police and Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmadu Commassie.

His junior brother, Alhaji Dahiru Commassie who confirmed the death, said the ex-IGP died in his Katsina resident on Thursday at the age of 76 years.

The deceased IGP was born on the 18th March 1943 and was Nigeria’s Police boss from 1993 to 1999.

He was also the Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, a position he hold until his death.

 The deceased been buried in his home town in Katsina.
