LILY Allen Split From Her Husband Sam Cooper Two Years Ago.

Lily and Sam divorced recently, with the pop star admitting to infidelity after "losing her sense of self and identity".

"I cheated on my husband. All I wanted to do was be with my kids. I wasn’t even making any money," she told Vulture.

After getting engaged in 2010, Lily called Sam the "love of her life".

Sam, who was a builder and decorator when they met, proposed in Bali on Christmas Day, with the It’s Not Fair hitmaker saying yes "instantly".
They went onto welcome their first daughter shortly after tying the knot in 2011, and Lily gave birth to their second in 2013.

Lily keeps her children out of the spotlight and, like most celebrities, doesn’t share photos of them on social media.

She has previously tweeted about protecting her children from the limelight, previously writing on the social media platform: "They’re never far away, you just don’t see them in pictures because I don’t tote them around like accessories."

After a rocky few years, the 33 year old has admitted to feeling "in a better place", after previously saying "all I wanted to do was be with my kids" during past struggles.
Lily and Sam recently divorced, after ending their marriage in 2016.

Last year she penned a track about her ex called Family Man, telling Rolling Stones magazine that when she wrote it: "I hadn't broken up with my husband at that point and I was obviously quite hopeful about where our relationship might go and it didn't go that way."
