She revealed that she invited Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of the site, to her husband Kanye West's birthday party and spoke to him about the possibility of the site including an edit button.
Tweeting to her 60million followers, she said: “I had a very good convo with @jack this weekend at Kanye’s bday and I think he really heard me out on the edit button.”
Currently, if Twitter users make a mistake in their tweets, they have to delete their mini status and rewrite it.
However the tweet is deleted from the user’s profile, but not the timelines of the user’s followers, meaning that the error is still very much there.
Jack quipped in reply to Kim’s tweet: “Now I see why I was invited!”
To which Kim repsonded: “Hahaha never! Kanye loves you! But I had to bring it up.”
Fans were quick to applaud Kim for her efforts, with one tweeting: “I appreciate you for this.”
And some social media enthusiasts are even hoping that Kim will take her campaign to other sites.
“Holy c**p, ok. You’re making moves. Can you go talk to Instagram and get them to go back to chronological feed?” one pleaded.
