But while talking to hosts like Stacey Solomon and Christine Bleakley, Gemma appeared to deny the tape actually exists, and swore in process.
During her interview, Gemma was awkwardly probed by Janet Street-Porter on the intimate video, but James Argent's girlfriend admitted that she'd made it up in a panic while being interviewed.
She then accidentally let slip a curse word as she said "sh**" during the daytime panel show.
Asked why she lied about having the tape, Gemma explained: "You know when you panic a bit and you think 'how can I give them something?'
so I went 'oh yeah I've got a sex tape' and now I'm like sh**…I can never live it down."
Lead host Christine was then forced to apologise, reaching out to any viewers who had been "offended" by Gemma's words.
Clarifying whether the sex tape really exists or not, Gemma then concluded her interview by saying: "When I'm in the bedroom...I'm going for it, Beyonce style, there's no time to be recording."
Gemma had previously revealed she had made a sex tape with a former partner, and would be willing to sell it for £1 million.
She made the confession to The Sun, stating she crafted the X-rated footage as she wanted to watch herself do the deed with a previous partner whom she "really fancied"
"I have actually made a sex tape and it’s very good, if I do say so myself," Gemma told the publication.
"I just made it because I was in love with my partner and I really fancied him, and always wanted to look at it again. It is on an iPhone somewhere in my house."
