However, the singer has set the record straight, addressing the rumours on her Twitter account.
Replying to a fan who wrote: “Real talk u would have the cutest babies ever” Ariana said: “Oh absolutely but ……….. innnnnnaaaaawhile.”
Another wrote: “Suddenly you’re pregnant with 34 kids,” to which she jokingly replied: “Duh!!! Haven’t I already had like eight.”
Meanwhile, comedian Pete officially confirmed their engagement this week during an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy told the Saturday Night Live star: “You know you didn’t have to get engaged to Ariana Grande to come on our show.”
“But I did though,” Pete replied, ending weeks of speculation around the couple’s whirlwind romance.
He continued: “I feel like I’ve won a contest. So sick.”
When quizzed on life engaged to the The Light Is Coming singer, he said: “It’s f**king lit, Jimmy.”
Pete then joked about how he is respected more by men since popping the question to the 24 year old.
“It’s so funny walking down the street ‘cause, like, dudes are walking by and they’re like,” he said as he made the motion of tipping his hat.
He also revealed that a fan stopped him in the street to tell him: “Yo man, you, like, gave me hope!”
“Yeah, I’m a lucky motherf**ker,” he continued.
Ariana and Pete were rumoured to be engaged after just three weeks of dating.
The pair both broke up with their exes in the weeks leading up to the start of their relationship.
