Medeama Shock Bolga All Stars

Medeama SC completed the first half of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League at 6^th place after a 2-1 victory on the road against Bolga All Stars.

After a barren opening 45 minutes, experienced forward Latif Salifu shot the Mauve and Yellows in the lead with a neat finish.

Bernard Ofori then made it 2-0 for the visitors at the Utrecht Park in Tamale.
Bolga managed to pull one back through Ibrahim Gayisu but failed in their comeback bid as the visitors ran away with an important victory.
